What is Night Watch?
Night Watch is a committee of volunteers coordinated by a chairperson under the direction of the Denver Central Committee and the Central Office. Night Watch volunteers coordinate 12 step calls and/or provide general information to people who phone the “A.A. Hotline.”
This service covers all calls the hours that Central Office is closed. This includes fourteen weekend shifts from Friday night at 5:00 pm to 9:00 am on Tuesday morning. Weekdays are also covered by two shifts per day from 5:00 pm to 11:00 pm and 11:00PM to 9:00 am the following morning. The volunteer accepts calls, evaluates the situation, and takes appropriate action.
Volunteers for this important function are always needed. Open shifts are posted in the NightWatch calendar download available below. Please contact the Central Office number below if you are interested in this volunteer function.
Please pick up a current meeting directory and Nightwatch packet at the Central Office or have your Central Office Delegate pick one up at the monthly meeting.
